Exterior Renovations

  1. 1.Multiple Work Phases: Exterior renovations will be performed in stages. Crews may return to your building at different times to complete the required work.
  2. 2.Garage Door Replacement: When applicable, garage door replacements are anticipated approximately two weeks before other exterior renovation activities.
  3. 3.Carpentry and Wood Replacement: Damaged siding, trim, fascia, window trim, and other wood components will generally be repaired or replaced approximately one week before painting activities.
  4. 4.Pressure Washing: Exterior surfaces scheduled for painting will be pressure washed and cleaned before additional preparation and painting begin.
  5. 5.Caulking and Sealing: Designated joints, gaps, and exterior surfaces will be caulked, sealed, and prepared for painting as needed.
  6. 6.Exterior Painting: Siding, stucco, trim, doors, and other designated surfaces will be painted or stained according to the approved scope of work.
  7. 7.Workers and Equipment: Expect workers, ladders, lifts, pressure washers, painting equipment, and construction materials around your building during renovation activities.
  8. 8.Access and Homeowner Coordination: Our project managers will be onsite and available to work with homeowners as needed. Given the relatively light nature of the work, crews can generally pause or adjust activities if you need to enter or leave your home or have special access needs.
  9. 9.Scheduling Changes: The timing and duration of each phase may change depending on the volume of work, building conditions, weather, and the scope of repairs.
  10. 10.Project Notification: Homeowners will receive an initial notification approximately one week before the scheduled start of renovations at their building. This notice will cover all phases of the planned work. Because crews may return at different times, separate notifications will not be issued for each phase.

  5. 5.Drywall Finishing: New drywall may require taping, floating, sanding, and surface preparation.
  6. 6.Texture and Painting: Repaired surfaces will be textured and painted to closely match surrounding finishes.
  7. 7.Multiple Work Stages: Interior renovations may require several visits or consecutive workdays to complete the necessary repairs and finishing.
  8. 8.Construction Dust and Noise: Some dust, noise, and temporary interruptions to the use of affected rooms should be expected.
  9. 9.Scheduling Adjustments: Interior repair schedules may change depending on the extent of repairs, drying requirements, crew availability, and access arrangements.
  10. 10.Project Communication and Access: Our project managers will be onsite and will work with homeowners as needed.
